Terms of Service

By creating an account or using StoreComply you agree to these Terms of Service. If you use the service on behalf of a business, you represent you have authority to bind that business.

StoreComply provides software to generate and host privacy policies, terms of service, cookie policies, and a cookie consent banner for ecommerce stores. Output is based on information you provide and automated templates.

StoreComply is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. Generated policies are templates to help merchants comply with common requirements. You are responsible for reviewing policies with qualified counsel and ensuring they fit your business.

You must provide accurate information and keep your password secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. Notify us at [email protected] of unauthorized use.

Paid plans renew automatically until cancelled via the Stripe billing portal. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change pricing with notice; changes apply on renewal.

You may not misuse the service, attempt unauthorized access, upload malware, use the platform for unlawful stores, or resell hosted policies outside permitted agency plans.

You retain rights to business information you submit. You grant us a license to host, display, and process that information to provide the service (including public policy pages when published).

We strive for high uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practicable.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, STORECOMPLY'S TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM. WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.

You may close your account anytime in Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts for breach of these terms. On termination, hosted pages may be unpublished and data deleted per our retention practices.

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state where StoreComply operates, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in competent courts in that jurisdiction unless otherwise required by consumer law.
